Have you heard about the admin’s recent proposal to eliminate the Visual Arts / Digital Media programs altogether? These programs prepare students for careers in graphic design, web design, television production, and much, much more. Something doesn’t sit right considering that these students account for 10% of the college’s total enrollment. There are over 300 students enrolled in these programs! Why on Earth would the President propose such a thing?
